We hope that you all had a merry Christmas!
I'm finally getting around to posting - I have been fighting and fighting with blogger to get my pictures uploaded correctly. So sorry it has taken so long but I think I've figured out a way to make it work!
This was our best attempt at a family picture!
And as you probably noticed Ryan left his name tag on from church - we sure wouldn't want to forget who he was!!!
We had a great time celebrating! Addyson and Braden especially had fun this year. They loved opening presents! And spending time with cousins and grandparents, aunts and uncles, and great-grandmas. And singing "Away in a Manger." They were finally old enough to just go play with their cousins and they loved it! And I am really surprised at how they still want to know who bought them each gift. They ask pretty much every time they play with a present "who bought this for me?". Unfortunately sharing is not going so well. I'm sure all siblings fight over toys, especially new ones. But I think the fact that these two are exactly the same age makes the other's toys look extra enticing. So we are working hard at being loving and sharing with each other. Poor Braden thinks all Addyson's toys look awesome. He can be seen with pink toys most days, doing his hair and reading girly books. Oh well. He still makes plenty of time for his animals, trucks, cars, and trains so I think we're ok.
It was nice to have our celebrations spread out a little this year so we weren't so completely exhausted by the end! Plus I don't remember the last time that Christmas fell on a Sunday that we didn't have something planned with one of our families. We had a great time celebrating and worshipping at church - that was probably my favorite part. But next best was celebrating just our family of 4. We came home and opened presents before a quick lunch and naps. And then had a big Christmas supper. Addyson and Braden blew out candles for Jesus' birthday in our dessert.
What a great day celebrating the wonderful gift of hope and grace in Jesus. So thankful for this very best gift and all the others too!
More posts to come (hopefully soon!) to wrap up the Christmas posts.

I love the picture where Braden has a gift and Addy hasn't. It's so expressive.
