Miss Addyson -
At 4 years old you are still as awesome as always.
And you still fit in the tub where you got your first bath when you were under 4 pounds. At your 4 year checkup in April you weighed 27 pounds and were 37 inches tall. You're still not on the charts for your weight even though you eat really, really well. You will eat almost anything and show your brother up all the time. You love your vegetables and a good competition to see who can eat their food first. But I don't know where it goes because it doesn't stick!!! We are just so happy that you turned into a good eater!! And thankful for whoever invented adjustable waist pants.
You do your own thing. You are our feisty little girl and we love that about you.
You LOVE to help me cook in the kitchen. You ask to help with almost everything I do. This day we were making monster cookies. You know a lot of the cooking lingo and I hear you pretending to have your own cooking show when you are playing - you measure things and use words like delicious and whatever else you hear mommy . . . and the Pioneer Woman . . say (you think PW is pretty awesome). But you are sweet to your mama. For a while at almost every meal you would tell me "Mama, this is my best meal I ever had in the whole world" even if it was lunch meat or leftovers. You are super sweet most of the time. We are so glad you decided to grow out of those tantrums you used to throw because you are turning into a sweet little girl with an encouraging spirit. But you stick to your guns - we just pray that it is God that you determine to follow with all your heart. You stop me and give me hugs just to tell me you love me often. I am so thankful for your encouragement.
You really love riding daddy's old tricycle. It is so worn out. The wheels are barely there and it's rusty and welded. But you love it. And you are a mess driving your pink jeep. I can only imagine what teaching you to drive will be like someday. You are awesome, but being observant is not high on your list of priorities. You are much more concerned with whether it's fun or not.
You like mommy'ing your little sister. You two have made huge strides the last few months and aren't nearly as competitive as you used to be. You like to read books to her and she loves it too.
You like going with daddy sometimes and being outside. Mostly you just like having him all to yourself. This day you and Braden found some mud to play in and you were pretty happy about it and excited to show me your muddy mittens.
You love Braden and you are still the best of buddies. You still share a room - and a bed - and neither of you would have it any other way. You do not like being without one another.
Your hair is growing and growing and sometimes you let me try new things with it, but you usually get bored and ask for a "real" ponytail because it is taking tooooo long. You are being more and more independent and can do so many things for yourself these days. You are a big help to your mama and you love for me to give you "chores" to do around the house. You favorite thing to watch on TV is Franklin. But you like 'Nanza too (Bonanza) and you know all the characters. I think you like it just as much as your daddy. You like to eat pepperoni pizza and candy. You would be content to drink water pretty much all the time. You say the funniest things sometimes. You will share just about anything you have. We love you bunches and I'm sure glad you were our Baby A because you make a great big sister.
