Adoption Update

We have a home study interview tomorrow, July 12th. This is the visit where our social worker will interview us for hours in order to get to know us and make sure that we are able to take care of a child. It should be a good time of learning and sharing, but it is a little intimidating to think of all the questions they will ask. Please pray that God would give us wisdom to answer her questions wisely and honestly and that we would feel comfortable chatting with her. On Thursday the social worker comes to our house to make sure it meets their standards and also meet Addyson and Braden.

The last weeks have been busy doing projects around the house and preparing for the home study, and spending time with friends and family. Hopefully I can get caught up starting next week with some pictures and more fun stuff. But if you think about it, we would really appreciate your prayers over the next few days as the home study is a big part of the adoption process and we are anxious to have this part behind us!!!
