We woke up Easter morning and made Resurrection rolls. So yummy and I love that Addyson and Braden can help and understand what we are celebrating on Easter. They seemed to "get it" so much more this year. We watched the Jesus Storybook Bible Easter stories - love, love, love that book.
Karina just liked eating the rolls and snuggling her piggy.
We got ready to go celebrate at church! It was already a lovely day and the kids looked so cute in their outfits! So we attempted a quick family picture. We took quite a few and most were like this. It really did not get any better.
I think it might contend for the worst family picture ever taken. You can barely tell Karina is there. Oh well.
This was our best attempt for a picture of the kids. Karina wore a dress that Addyson wore for Easter when she was 2!
We had all three kids with us during the church service and lets just say that we survived. That was our first attempt at that and it was a learning experience.
Then we took naps before heading over to Ryan's parents to celebrate with his family.
Karina had fun outside. And Addyson and Braden had fun with their cousins and hunting Easter eggs.
I love Karina's orneriness captured in this picture. She was totally swiping eggs from anyone she could.
See how much fun she is having! Love seeing the joy on her face.
And she's getting pretty good at that walking thing too!
So thankful that Jesus came to rescue us. Spent this Easter understanding that I totally don't deserve it, but thankful he paid my ransom.
