Tanning with my Daddy
I was able to go showoff some baby pictures to our Sonogram techs this morning. We consider both of them to be great friends of ours now. God has blessed them with a special gift of being able to work those sonogram machines. But most of all their friendlyness and care of our babies and us was most appreciated. We pray that the Lord will bless them both and that we will be able to keep in touch with them.
All of the doctors, nurses, and staff at the hospital are so caring and helpful. We have felt so loved and informed. We had a great nurse taking care of Christy during the surgery named Jen who stopped by to see us yesterday. She was a great blessing and made the surgery and the day calm and peaceful. We continue to be amazed at God's faithfulness and love through all the great people He has surrounded us and our precious miracles with.
You got to hold Addyson!!! Praise God! And I must say that I cannot read your posts without tissues close by! I guess it's an aunt's duty to cry tears of joy! So, so, so joyful with you! Love you all,
ReplyDeleteTami
Ok, looking at pictures closer, maybe you didn't get to hold her but sure looks like you're having a great time with her. I'm wondering how she will feel about tanning with her dad in 14 years!!! And Braden looks chubby even at 3 lbs!
ReplyDeleteSo tiny and cute and perfect! We are praying for all 4 of you!

They are so precious! Thanks for sharing pictures~ keep them coming!
ReplyDeleteJust wanted to let you know that Seth looked at the pictures today. His big tender heart was broken over the fact that he can't come see Braden and Addyson. We all love you all so much! Kirsten shared her favorite verse with me tonight so thought I would pass it on to you. "I will say of the LORD, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Psalm 91:2
ReplyDeleteEven though we haven't sent you a message yet, we've been checking here for updates several times a day. Our girls would stay glued to this thing almost 24/7 if they could! Our hearts are full of so many things - huge joy for you meeting your children in the flesh, that things are going OK so far and you've been so well cared for, aching arms (by proxy) for you to hold your babies (and some wistfulness at the passing of all the infancies in our family), and even some tears - of joy, compassion, and just that "baby thing" we are such suckers for! Thanks to the Father for his care and for your new additions! We will be reminding Him (as if he would forget!) of RCABVOGT's need of protection & healing & rest. He is GOOD!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,

Ryan & Christy - Congratulations! So thankful with you for incredible technology and gifted doctors and nurses. God is the ultimate Physician, but we are so glad that He equips humans with the skill and ability to do amazing things for our children. Praying that you rely on Him one step at a time.
ReplyDelete"For I know the plans I have for Braden and Addyson, declares the Lord, plans to prosper them and not to harm them, plans to give them hope and a future." Jer 29:11
